Job description

We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of innovative software solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using Java for backend development and Angular for the frontend.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, UI/UX designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality software that meets business needs. The role involves both backend server-side logic as well as frontend interface design, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance across the entire application stack.

This position is fully remote within the European Union, and we are specifically looking for EU citizens to ensure compliance with our operational requirements.

  • Develop and maintain robust backend services using Java technologies.

  • Build dynamic and responsive user interfaces using Angular and related JavaScript frameworks.

  • Work collaboratively with teams to design scalable and maintainable software solutions.

  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement of development processes.

  • Ensure applications meet quality standards and performance benchmarks.

Level : Senior/Intermediate

Deadline 25/11/26

Only EU citizen can apply

Delivery mode : Remote from EU

๐ŸŽฏ Who is this job for?

This role is suitable for an Intermediate to Senior Full Stack Developer who is an EU citizen and can work remotely from within the European Union. Required skills include strong Java backend development, Angular and JavaScript frontend development, web application architecture, testing, code reviews, performance optimization, and collaborative software delivery. The candidate should be familiar with designing scalable applications, developing server-side services and responsive interfaces, integrating frontend and backend components, maintaining existing systems, and continuously improving code quality and development processes.

๐Ÿ’ฌ Potential Interview Questions

How would you design a scalable Java backend for a web application?

I would separate the application into well-defined layers or services, use stateless APIs where possible, and apply patterns such as dependency injection and clear domain boundaries. Scalability would also require efficient database access, caching where appropriate, horizontal scaling, and monitoring.

What are the key principles of designing a RESTful API in Java?

I would use meaningful resource-oriented URLs, appropriate HTTP methods and status codes, consistent request and response formats, and proper validation and error handling. The API should also be secure, documented, versioned when necessary, and designed to remain backward compatible.

How does Spring Boot dependency injection work, and why is it useful?

Spring Boot manages application components as beans and injects their dependencies through constructors or other injection mechanisms. This reduces coupling, improves testability, and makes application configuration and component replacement easier.

How would you optimize the performance of a Java application?

I would first measure performance using profiling, logs, and monitoring rather than assuming the bottleneck. Typical improvements include optimizing database queries, reducing unnecessary network calls, using suitable caching, managing memory and threads correctly, and improving algorithmic complexity.

How would you structure an Angular application for maintainability?

I would organize the application into feature-focused modules or components, keep shared functionality in reusable services, and separate presentation from business logic. Consistent routing, typed models, reactive patterns, and clear component responsibilities help the application remain maintainable as it grows.

What is the difference between Angular components, services, and guards?

Components manage the view and user interaction, services encapsulate reusable business or data-access logic, and guards control access to routes or navigation. Keeping these responsibilities separate improves reuse, testing, and overall application structure.

How would you manage asynchronous data and state in Angular?

I would use RxJS observables for asynchronous streams and compose them with operators such as map, switchMap, catchError, and debounceTime. For larger applications, a dedicated state-management approach may be used to centralize shared state and make updates predictable.

How would you secure communication between an Angular frontend and a Java backend?

I would use HTTPS, secure authentication such as OAuth 2.0 or JWT-based access tokens, and enforce authorization on the backend rather than relying only on frontend checks. Input validation, protection against CSRF and XSS, secure token storage, and appropriate CORS configuration are also important.

What testing strategy would you apply to a full stack Java and Angular application?

I would combine unit tests for Java services and Angular components with integration tests for API, database, and security behavior. End-to-end tests would verify critical user journeys, while automated tests should run in the continuous integration pipeline to prevent regressions.

How would you investigate a performance issue affecting both the Angular frontend and Java backend?

I would reproduce the issue and use browser developer tools, frontend monitoring, backend metrics, distributed logs, and request tracing to identify where time is being spent. I would then address the root cause, validate the improvement with measurable benchmarks, and add monitoring or tests to prevent recurrence.

๐Ÿ“‹ Job Summary

Join a collaborative software development team building innovative, scalable web applications for business needs. As a Full Stack Developer, you will develop Java backend services, create responsive Angular interfaces, collaborate across teams, and contribute to code reviews, testing, and performance improvements. This is a fully remote role from within the EU, open to EU citizens, with a Senior/Intermediate level and a salary that is not disclosed. Apply by 25 November 2026 for the opportunity to work across the full stack on impactful, high-quality software solutions.
