🎯 Who is this job for?

Level: Senior Full Stack Developer.

This role suits someone with 4+ years of production React experience, 2+ years with Node.js, and strong skills in MongoDB, modern CSS, Material Design, JavaScript tooling, i18n, Git, CI/CD, and Spec-Driven Development.

The candidate should be familiar with building scalable multilingual applications, managing complex frontend and backend tasks, implementing automated deployment workflows, and communicating technical concepts clearly; Angular and business intelligence tools are advantageous.

💬 Potential Interview Questions

How would you structure a scalable React application with reusable components and predictable state management?

I would organize the application by feature or domain, isolate reusable UI components, and keep business logic in custom hooks or services. For shared state, I would use Context or a dedicated state library only when necessary, while keeping local state close to the components that own it.

How do you optimize the performance of a large-scale React application?

I would measure performance first, then apply techniques such as code splitting, lazy loading, memoization, virtualized lists, optimized rendering, and effective caching. I would also inspect bundle sizes and avoid unnecessary dependencies or renders.

How would you design a Node.js REST API that uses MongoDB?

I would separate routing, controllers, services, validation, and data-access layers, with centralized error handling and structured logging. MongoDB schemas and indexes should reflect query patterns, while validation, pagination, authentication, and authorization should be enforced at the API boundary.

What MongoDB indexing strategies would you use to improve application performance?

I would create indexes based on frequent filters, sorting, and join-like lookups, while checking query plans with explain(). Compound indexes should follow the equality, sort, and range pattern, and I would avoid excessive indexes because they increase storage and write costs.

How would you implement a multilingual React application using i18n?

I would use an i18n library with translation keys separated from application code, support locale detection and fallback languages, and avoid concatenating translated fragments. I would also account for pluralization, date and number formatting, text expansion, and right-to-left layouts when required.

How do Vite and Webpack differ, and when might you choose one over the other?

Vite provides fast development through native ES modules and uses a production bundler for optimized builds, while Webpack offers a highly configurable and mature bundling ecosystem. I would generally choose Vite for modern applications and rapid development, but use Webpack when existing tooling or advanced customization requires it.

How would you establish a Spec-Driven Development workflow?

I would define clear, testable specifications and acceptance criteria before implementation, then use them to guide design, development, and automated testing. Changes to the specification should be versioned and reviewed so that implementation and tests remain aligned with the agreed behavior.

How would you apply modern CSS and Material Design principles in a React application?

I would use responsive layouts, consistent spacing and typography tokens, accessible color contrast, and reusable design-system components. Material Design principles can provide consistency, but components should still support keyboard navigation, semantic HTML, responsive behavior, and appropriate accessibility states.

What should a CI/CD pipeline include for a React and Node.js application?

A pipeline should install dependencies reproducibly, run linting, type checks, unit and integration tests, build frontend and backend artifacts, and perform security or dependency checks. After successful validation, it can deploy through controlled environments with environment-specific configuration, approvals, monitoring, and rollback support.

How do you manage Git workflows when collaborating on a full-stack team?

I prefer small, focused branches and commits with clear messages, protected main branches, and pull requests requiring review and automated checks. Conflicts should be resolved carefully, and changes should be rebased or merged regularly to reduce integration risk and keep history understandable.
