Role Overview

As a Senior Frontend Software Engineer, you will build and scale the web applications that power mission-critical eCommerce discovery experiences globally.
You will work at the intersection of modern frontend architecture and AI/ML-driven product interfaces, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and accessibility.
This role requires deep expertise in the React ecosystem, a passion for pixel-perfect UI, and the ability to contribute to the long-term frontend engineering excellence of the team.

What You Will Do

Architect & Develop: Design and maintain high-quality frontend features using ReactJS and Next.js.
UI/UX Implementation: Translate complex wireframes and design mockups into responsive, pixel-perfect, and accessible user interfaces.
Performance Optimization: Debug complex frontend issues and optimize rendering performance across various browsers and devices.
Collaborative Integration: Work closely with backend engineers to integrate RESTful APIs and ensure seamless data flow across the stack.
Technical Leadership: Lead code reviews, define frontend standards, and mentor junior developers to foster a culture of technical excellence.
Infrastructure & Tooling: Contribute to architectural decisions, improve frontend build systems (Vite/Webpack), and enhance CI/CD workflows.
Product Strategy: Partner with product managers and designers to understand user needs and create elegant, scalable solutions.
Modern Standards: Ensure all applications are SEO-friendly, follow WCAG accessibility standards, and adhere to clean code principles.

What We’re Looking For

6+ years of experience in professional frontend development and web technologies.
Expertise in ReactJS: Deep understanding of React hooks, state management, and the JavaScript (ES6+) ecosystem.
Modern Frameworks: Strong professional experience with Next.js and TypeScript (preferred).
Styling & Layout: Mastery of HTML5, CSS3, and pre/post-processors like Sass or PostCSS.
Browser Internals: Solid understanding of browser rendering behavior, profiling, and performance optimization techniques.
Integration Skills: Proven experience with RESTful API integration and frontend data patterns.
E-commerce DNA: Prior experience building e-commerce applications or high-traffic discovery tools is a major plus.
Testing & Quality: Familiarity with testing frameworks like Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress.
Engineering Rigor: Experience with version control (Git) and building/maintaining reusable components or npm packages.
