Hostinger serves more than 5.5 million clients across 150 countries, but we're still excited about what we're creating next.

AI is changing how we build products, support customers, work together, and solve problems. It helps us move faster, spend less time on repetitive work, and focus on bigger ideas.

If you want your work to influence both what we build and how we build it, we'd like to meet you.

Our culture: Guided by 10 company principles.

 Your role at Hostinger

You'll join the team that is building an AI-powered platforms that helps anyone turn an idea into a website, online store, or web app.
This isn't a "ticket-to-deploy" role. You'll own problems end-to-end: from identifying customer needs to shipping solutions and measuring their impact. In addition, you will work in a cross functional team and collaborate with designers, quality engineers, AI engineers and engineers from different teams.
We move fast, with high autonomy and broad ownership. AI agents are part of how we build every day - helping us experiment faster and solve bigger problems.

Your day-to-day

  • Own features end-to-end - Build complete features for AI Builder and eCommerce from database to UI. Ship Vue.js 3 components powered by Node.js APIs that you designed and built yourself.

  • Balance the stack - Split your time between crafting intuitive frontends and building robust backend services. Learn where you're strongest and where you want to grow.

  • Move fast, learn faster - Work in an autonomous squad that ships regularly. Make technical decisions with mentorship from experienced engineers, gradually taking on more responsibility.

  • Solve real problems - Debug across the full stack, optimize performance from SQL queries to bundle sizes, and understand how every piece fits together.

  • Collaborate and contribute - Work with designers on UX, debate API design with backend engineers, and help shape the product direction with PMs.

  • Level up across the board - Deep dive into frontend architecture one sprint, backend scalability the next. We'll help you become a well-rounded engineer who can work anywhere in the stack.

  • The vibe: You're a generalist who loves learning, hates being bored, and wants to understand the full picture. We value adaptability, curiosity, and the drive to ship quality work across the entire stack.

What will help you succeed

  • Backend: Working knowledge of Node.js, REST APIs, and databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL).

  • You know message queueing technologies, like RabbitMQ, BullMQ, or GCP PubSub.

  • Testing discipline - you write unit tests and understand why E2E testing matters.

  • Database proficiency - comfortable writing SQL and using ORMs to manage data effectively.

  • Git collaboration - experienced working in team environments with branches, PRs, and code reviews.

  • Strong communicator - you can explain technical decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Self-driven learner - you tackle unfamiliar challenges, research solutions, and aren't afraid to ask for help when needed.

Nice to have

  • Docker and containerization experience.

Three. Two. Onboard

๐ŸŽฏ Who is this job for?

This role is suitable for a Middle-level Full-Stack Developer with at least 2 years of experience building modern JavaScript/TypeScript applications across frontend and backend.

The candidate should know Vue.js, React, or Angular, HTML, CSS/SCSS, Node.js, REST APIs, SQL databases, ORMs, message queues, automated testing, and collaborative Git workflows; Docker, performance optimization, and CI/CD are advantageous.

They should be comfortable owning features end to end, designing APIs, building UI components, debugging and optimizing full-stack systems, writing tests, collaborating cross-functionally, and learning independently in an autonomous product team.

๐Ÿ’ฌ Potential Interview Questions

How would you design a Node.js REST API for an AI Builder feature?

I would define resource-oriented endpoints, validate inputs, enforce authentication and authorization, and use consistent error responses. I would also consider pagination, idempotency, observability, and API versioning where necessary.

How would you structure a Vue.js 3 and TypeScript application for maintainability?

I would organize the application by features, use reusable components, composables for shared logic, and strongly typed API models. I would keep business logic out of presentation components and manage shared state only where needed.

How would you optimize a slow PostgreSQL query used by a Node.js service?

I would inspect the query plan with EXPLAIN ANALYZE, check indexes, joins, filtering, and returned columns, and review database statistics. I would also verify ORM-generated SQL and consider pagination, caching, or query restructuring.

When would you use a message queue such as RabbitMQ, BullMQ, or Pub/Sub?

I would use a queue for asynchronous, retryable, or long-running work such as AI generation, email delivery, or background processing. Consumers should be idempotent, failures should be observable, and dead-letter handling should be defined.

How would you make a background job safe to retry?

I would assign an idempotency key or unique job identifier and ensure repeated execution does not create duplicate side effects. I would also configure bounded retries with backoff and persist job status for recovery and monitoring.

What testing strategy would you apply to a full-stack feature?

I would unit test business logic and components, integration test API and database interactions, and add E2E tests for critical user journeys. The tests should cover validation, authorization, failure cases, and the most important AI Builder workflows.

How would you handle errors and observability in a Node.js API?

I would use centralized error handling with safe client-facing messages and structured internal logs containing correlation IDs. Metrics, traces, latency measurements, and alerting would help identify failures and performance regressions.

How would you improve frontend performance in a Vue.js application?

I would measure first using browser performance tools, then apply route and component lazy loading, efficient rendering, bundle optimization, and appropriate caching. I would also reduce unnecessary reactive updates and optimize API requests.

How would you design database changes for a continuously deployed application?

I would use versioned, backward-compatible migrations and deploy schema changes in stages. For example, I would add new nullable columns before deploying code that writes to them, then backfill and enforce constraints later.

How would you containerize and deploy a Node.js and Vue.js application?

I would use a multi-stage Docker build to compile the frontend and produce a minimal runtime image for the backend. Configuration and secrets would come from the deployment environment, while CI/CD would run tests, build images, scan them, and deploy safely.
