🎯 Who is this job for?

Senior Full Stack Developer suitable for an experienced professional with at least 7 years of IT experience and 3+ years in full-stack development, automation, Linux administration, databases, containers, and agile delivery.

The candidate should be skilled in Python, JavaScript, React, HTML/CSS, Flask, MySQL, MongoDB, Bash, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and Linux, with excellent English communication.

They should be familiar with building social media data-collection tools, responsive annotation and analysis interfaces, backend APIs and data pipelines, workflow automation, system configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting, security, performance optimization, and technical support.

💬 Potential Interview Questions

How would you design a Flask API for collecting and processing data from social media platforms?

I would define clear REST resources, validate inputs, implement authentication and authorization, and separate routing, business logic, and data-access layers. I would also add rate-limit handling, retries, structured logging, monitoring, and asynchronous processing for long-running collection tasks.

How would you build a React interface for data annotation and analysis?

I would create reusable components with clear state management, form validation, pagination, filtering, and keyboard-friendly workflows. I would use API clients to isolate backend communication and optimize rendering through memoization, virtualization, and appropriate loading and error states.

How would you integrate Flask with both MySQL and MongoDB?

I would use MySQL for structured, transactional data and MongoDB for flexible or document-oriented records such as raw social media payloads. Repository or service abstractions would keep persistence concerns separate, while indexes, connection pooling, migrations, and query monitoring would support performance and maintainability.

How would you make a data-collection workflow scalable and reliable?

I would decouple ingestion from processing using queues or background workers, make operations idempotent, and implement retries with exponential backoff. I would also partition workloads, enforce platform rate limits, monitor throughput and failures, and store checkpoints so interrupted jobs can resume safely.

What security measures would you apply to APIs and social media integrations?

I would use secure authentication, role-based authorization, input validation, parameterized queries, TLS, secret management, and strict CORS policies. Tokens and personal data should be encrypted or minimized, while audit logs, dependency scanning, rate limiting, and regular security reviews help reduce operational risk.

How would you containerize and deploy this application with Docker and Kubernetes?

I would create small multi-stage Docker images, run processes as non-root users, externalize configuration, and define health checks. In Kubernetes, I would use Deployments, Services, ConfigMaps, Secrets, resource limits, rolling updates, and autoscaling, with separate configurations for development, testing, and production.

Which Linux administration tasks are important for maintaining development and testing environments?

Important tasks include user and permission management, package and service configuration, process and resource monitoring, networking, firewall rules, log analysis, backups, and automated patching. I would document changes and use Bash or Python scripts to make repetitive administration tasks consistent and reproducible.

How would you use Python and Bash to automate development workflows?

Python is suitable for API clients, data transformations, validation, and workflow orchestration, while Bash is effective for build, deployment, and system tasks. Scripts should use strict error handling, meaningful exit codes, logging, configuration through environment variables, and automated tests where practical.

How would you diagnose a slow or failing full-stack application?

I would first use metrics, logs, traces, and reproducible test cases to identify whether the issue is in the browser, API, database, network, or infrastructure. I would inspect frontend performance, API latency, database execution plans, resource usage, and recent deployments before applying and validating a targeted fix.

How do Git and agile practices support delivery in a distributed development team?

I would use small feature branches or trunk-based development, meaningful commits, pull requests, automated CI checks, code reviews, and controlled releases. Jira can track work and defects, while Confluence can document architecture, operational procedures, decisions, and reporting information for the wider team.
