Job Description
JOB SUMMARY:
Endurance Warranty Services, LLC. is hiring a Senior Frontend Engineer to help craft modern user experiences across a variety of enterprise software systems. In this role, you’ll head up frontend development efforts using React, partner closely with backend engineers and product stakeholders, and help raise the bar for UI quality, performance, and maintainability across our applications.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys owning features end-to-end, mentoring teammates, and shaping frontend standards in a fully remote environment.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
What You’ll Do
- Lead the design and implementation of complex frontend features in React
- Build scalable, maintainable UI components and front-end architecture patterns
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and stakeholders to deliver high-impact work
- Improve performance, accessibility, and responsiveness across web applications
- Drive best practices for code quality, testing, and frontend development standards
- Participate in and lead code reviews, providing constructive feedback and guidance
- Mentor junior developers and support team growth through pairing and coaching
- Help troubleshoot production issues and improve observability and reliability
- Performs other related duties as assigned or as business needs evolve.

QUALIFICATIONS:
What We’re Looking For (Must-Haves)
- Strong professional experience building modern web applications with React (or another modern frontend technology)
- Ability to translate product requirements into clean, scalable UI solutions
- Excellent problem-solving skills and strong ownership mentality
- Strong communication skills and experience collaborating in remote teams
- Experience improving and maintaining production-grade frontend codebases
- Comfort making technical decisions and guiding others through implementation
- Practical experience using AI coding assistants (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, etc.) in your development workflow
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with TypeScript, Tailwind, NextJS
- Familiarity with frontend testing (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, etc.)
- Experience with performance optimization and accessibility standards
- Experience designing component libraries or design systems
- Exposure to enterprise systems, role-based permissions, and complex workflows
- Mentorship or team leadership experience
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Sitting or standing for extended periods; repetitive motions; use hands to handle equipment or controls; reach with hands and arms; typing on keyboard; viewing computer screen extended periods; speak clearly and hearing
- Regular use of typical office equipment, computer software, programs, and methods of communication such as a computer, e-mail, phone system, and messaging.
- In a remote work environment, being interactive and communicative with management and co-workers in a visible manner is an essential function of the job. Camera/video usage is required.
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds.
*The compensation for this role falls within an annual salary range of $140,000 to $150,000. *
